Why Rabbit Grooming Is Important?
You may wonder why you need to brush your rabbit. After all, a rabbit will keep his or her own fur clean just like a cat does. But for rabbits, especially long haired breeds, therein lies the problem. Unlike cats, rabbits cannot vomit, so all that ingested hair can become trapped inside your pet and cause a blockage. This can lead to a potentially fatal condition called GI stasis, which can quickly kill your rabbit if veterinary assistance is not obtained.
By keeping your rabbit's fur regularly brushed and helping remove excess fur during their moults, you can greatly reduce their chances of developing GI stasis and also increase their health, happiness and quality of life. Your rabbit is in very gentle and safe hands with our team of groomers. We want your pet to have a pleasant and stress-free experience.
